Ingredients for 2 servings:

  • 1 pack of hearts (chicken hearts), frozen
  • 1 small onion(s), finely chopped
  • 1 tbsp clarified butter
  • 1 tbsp dill, fresh or dried
  • 1 pinch of salt
  • 1 pinch(s) spice mix (Parisian pepper)
  • 250 ml meat broth

Instructions

Working time approx. 15 minutes; Total time approx. 15 minutes

a quick, tasty dish

Wash and trim the thawed chicken hearts. Heat clarified butter and sauté the onions until translucent. Add the hearts, salt, and dill (which is never too much in this recipe). Pour in the broth. Let everything simmer gently in an uncovered pan until the hearts reach the right consistency. This takes about 20 minutes. Serve with rice or baguette. Tip: You can also refine this dish with fried mushrooms; we love it without.
