Ingredients for 4 servings:

  • 1 large chicken
  • 1 stalk(s) celery, diced
  • 1 savoy cabbage, diced
  • 1 kohlrabi, diced
  • 1 onion(s), diced
  • 1 clove(s) garlic, diced
  • 2 large carrots, diced
  • 6 large potatoes, diced
  • Vegetable broth, instant
  • Soup seasoning (herbs)
  • Water

Instructions

Working time approx. 45 minutes; Cooking/baking time approx. 1 hour; Total time approx. 1 hour 45 minutes

Place the whole chicken in a large saucepan and add cold water. Boil the chicken for 45 minutes. Remove from the broth, peel off the skin, and remove the meat from the bones, then cut into pieces. Add the finely diced vegetables to the chicken broth and bring to a boil. After about 5 minutes, add the meat. Season to taste with vegetable broth, salt, a little pepper, and herbs.
