Chicory with caper and mustard sauce

Ingredients for 2 servings:

  • 3 chicory
  • 1 tbsp butter
  • 100 ml cream
  • 1 tsp capers
  • 1 tsp mustard
  • salt and pepper

Instructions

Working time approx. 10 minutes; Cooking/baking time approx. 10 minutes; Total time approx. 20 minutes

Wash the chicory and remove the stems. Cut the heads into 2 cm wide strips and sauté them in butter for 20 minutes. Add the cream, mustard, and capers and let it reduce slightly. Season with salt and pepper. Serve with rice or boiled potatoes.
