A chocolate ganache is suitable, for example, to refine a cake or cupcakes. With the right ingredients, the ganache is very easy to make and the production is not complicated.
Make chocolate ganache
Depending on what you want to cover with the chocolate ganache, you need a different amount of ingredients. To cover a cake you need 450 grams milk chocolate, 325 grams cream, and 20 grams butter.
- Put the cream in a saucepan and heat it up. However, make sure that it does not boil.
- Now slowly stir the chocolate pieces into the cream until it has completely melted. You can now turn off the stove.
- Finally, add the butter and stir it in as well.
- You should let the mixture cool down in the fridge for at least an hour. Then beat them briefly with a mixer and spread the finished ganache on the cake. The cake should then also be kept in the fridge if it is not to be eaten immediately.
- Tip: If you don’t like it too sweet, you can use dark chocolate instead of milk chocolate.
