Ingredients for 12 servings:
- 400 g rice (e.g. basmati rice)
- 100 g coconut flakes
Instructions
Working time approx. 10 minutes; Rest time approx. 10 minutes; Cooking/baking time approx. 10 minutes; Total time approx. 30 minutes
Cook the rice according to the package instructions until it’s slightly sticky. Then let it cool slightly (the refrigerator is quickest). Place the coconut flakes in a bowl. Using a spoon and your hands, form the rice into balls and roll them in the coconut flakes. This dish serves as a side dish to seafood dishes, but can also be eaten on its own.
