  • 250 g beef soup meat (with bone)
  • Salt
  • 1 onion(s)
  • 1 bay leaf
  • 375 g tomatoes
  • 1 pinch(s) of sugar
  • 1 tbsp lemon juice
  • 1 tbsp basil

Instructions

Wash the beef in cold water and add 3/4 liter of cold, lightly salted water, the peeled, sliced ​​onion, and the bay leaf. Simmer the soup gently for about 90 minutes, then strain through a sieve. Add the washed, diced tomatoes to the broth and simmer for 10 to 12 minutes, then strain through a fine sieve. Reheat the soup and season with salt, sugar, and lemon juice. Finally, sprinkle with finely chopped basil and serve with sliced ​​toast.
