  • With around 880 kilocalories or 3,700 kilojoules per 100 grams, cocoa butter is one of the calorie bombs. In this respect, the plant-based variant is in no way inferior to the animal-based one. Cocoa butter can be used perfectly in vegan cuisine and also has a long shelf life.
  • In contrast to cocoa butter, cocoa is much healthier.

Cocoa butter is by no means only interesting for vegans and vegetarians. Due to its melting point between 28 and 36 degrees, cocoa butter is particularly suitable for all chocolate-containing foods.
