The drink contains healthy plant chemicals that can activate the immune system. Regular coffee consumption can reduce the chances of contracting the COVID-19 coronavirus.

According to the study, daily coffee consumption reduces the risk of coronavirus by ten percent. In addition, it turned out that elderly coffee drinkers have a lower risk of developing pneumonia.

Scientists have suggested that the drink contains healthy plant chemicals that can activate the immune system.

Experts believe that the findings support the hypothesis that food can affect certain aspects of the immune system, and thus susceptibility to COVID-19. Thus, the “coffee effect” as a means of stimulating the immune system deserves further study.

The study was based on the analysis of data from more than 40,000 Britons, during which scientists tried to determine a diet against coronavirus.
