Cooking Food: Impress Your Date with These Recipes

Spread the love

Anyone who invites you to a dinner for the first date should have experience in cooking and decide on the right recipes. With our menu, you will definitely conquer the heart of your crush – at least in culinary terms.

Cooking food for the date – a hot start with pumpkin soup

If you are cooking a meal for your date, you should play it safe with the appetizer. Better not choose seafood unless you know your date likes it. Our recommendation: pumpkin and coconut soup. It is easy to pre-cook and is guaranteed to warm your heart.

  • Ingredients: For the pumpkin soup you need half a Hokkaido pumpkin, four carrots, two potatoes, an onion, ginger to taste, a tablespoon of instant vegetable stock, a can of coconut milk, and a tablespoon of curry paste.
  • Preparation: Place the finely chopped vegetables in a large saucepan and sear them briefly on all sides.
Also, fry the curry paste briefly and then deglaze everything with water. The vegetables should be completely covered with liquid.
  • Season with the vegetable broth and also add coconut milk. Cover and let the soup simmer for about 20 minutes.
  • When the vegetables are cooked, puree the soup. Depending on the consistency you prefer, you can dilute the soup with a little milk.

Main course for the date: Romantic heart-shaped pizza

Almost everyone likes pizza. To make them extra special for the occasion, you can simply prepare them in the shape of a heart.

  • Preparation: Prepare pizza dough or buy ready-made dough at the supermarket. You can either make the sauce yourself or buy it.
  • Preparation: Roll out or cut the dough into a heart shape. Then place it on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper.
  • Now spread the sauce on the dough and top the pizza according to your taste – or the taste of your date. For example salami, mushrooms, peppers, or corn.
  • Finally, grated mozzarella comes on your heart pizza. At 180 degrees of circulating air, the pizza needs about 15-20 minutes to finish.

Date finale with a sweet chocolate sin

Eating chocolate produces the happiness hormone serotonin in the body. A chocolaty dessert is therefore ideal for making your date happy. A quick mousse au Chocolat is also possible for less experienced cooks and ensures the culmination of your date.

  • Ingredients: You need 140 milliliters of cream, 60 milliliters of milk, and 100 grams of dark chocolate.
  • Preparation: Melt the chopped chocolate in the milk while stirring. This must not cook. Then put the mixture in the fridge for an hour.
  • Whip the cream until stiff and carefully fold it into the chocolate-milk mixture using a whisk.
  • Fill the finished mousse into glasses or dessert bowls and put them in the fridge for at least three hours. Serve with fresh fruit, especially raspberries, strawberries, or currants.
