Ingredients for 4 servings:

  • ½ lemon(s)
  • 1 cup of couscous, approx. 200 – 250 ml content
  • e.g. water, boiling
  • 3 beefsteak tomatoes
  • 1 bell pepper(s), red
  • 1 onion(s), red
  • 1 package of feta cheese, approx. 200 g
  • n. B. salt and pepper, black
  • 1 tbsp liquid honey
  • 80 ml herbal vinegar
  • 50 ml water
  • e.g. Dill, fresh, chopped

Instructions

Working time approx. 20 minutes; Rest time approx. 10 minutes; Total time approx. 30 minutes

Squeeze half a lemon into a medium saucepan and add the couscous. Add enough boiling water to cover. Let stand as directed on the package. Meanwhile, wash or trim the tomatoes, bell pepper, and onion, quarter them, and then slice them into thin strips. Dice the feta cheese. Add everything to the couscous along with salt, pepper, honey, vinegar, water, and dill and mix well. Let stand for at least 10 minutes before serving.
