Ingredients for 6 servings:

  • 2 bags of rice
  • 1 bell pepper(s), yellow
  • 1 bell pepper(s), red
  • 2 onions
  • 250 ml tomato sauce
  • 200 g cheese, grated
  • 2 turkey breast fillets
  • 20 tortilla chips
  • 1 tsp salt and pepper
  • 1 tbsp oregano

Working time approx. 20 minutes; Cooking/baking time approx. 15 minutes; Total time approx. 35 minutes

Cook the rice according to the package instructions. Make sure it doesn’t get too soft; it should still have some bite. Cut the turkey breast into strips and season with pepper, salt, and oregano. Brown well on all sides and set aside. In the same pan, sauté the diced onions and bell peppers until translucent. Add the rice and tomato sauce, mix well, and pour into a baking dish. Spread the meat and cheese evenly over the rice. Bake in the oven at 180°C for 15 minutes. Serve garnished with the tortilla chips.
