Cream sauce with cocktail tomatoes

Ingredients for 2 servings:

  • 150 ml cream
  • 2 handfuls of cocktail tomatoes, aromatic
  • 3 basil leaves
  • 1 small onion(s)
  • 2 cloves garlic
  • some broth, instant, about 1/2 tsp
  • pepper
  • Fat, e.g. butter

Instructions

Working time approx. 15 minutes; Total time approx. 15 minutes

Finely chop the onion and garlic clove and sauté in a little fat (butter is best). Meanwhile, halve the cherry tomatoes and tear the basil. Add the cream and tomatoes to the onions and simmer for 3-4 minutes. Season with pepper, add the broth, and freshly sprinkle the basil on top of the sauce. For gnocchi and pasta. We like to make more of the sauce and dip the rest into baguette.
