Cream soup

Ingredients for 6 servings:

  • 250 ml water
  • 1 tsp caraway seeds
  • 2 tsp salt
  • 250 ml cream
  • 50 g flour
  • 6 slices of bread (brown bread)
  • 8 tbsp oil
  • 3 cloves garlic

Instructions

Working time approx. 15 minutes; Total time approx. 15 minutes

Bring water to a boil with salt and caraway seeds. Meanwhile, whisk the cream with the flour (dilute with water if necessary) to avoid lumps. Then whisk into the water and let it simmer for a while. As a soup garnish, toast brown bread cubes in oil until very crispy, press in the garlic, and season with salt. Sprinkle over the soup. Another soup garnish: Peel and dice 3 large potatoes, and let them simmer in the soup for 20 minutes.
