Ingredients for 2 servings:
- 1 jar chickpeas
- 1 tbsp rapeseed oil
- 1 ½ tsp salt
- 2 tsp Ras el Hanout, if desired
- ½ tsp cumin powder, if desired
Instructions
Working time approx. 5 minutes; Rest time approx. 10 minutes; Cooking/baking time approx. 35 minutes; Total time approx. 50 minutes
Drain the chickpeas through a sieve, rinse thoroughly under running water, and then let them air dry for a few minutes. Then, toss the chickpeas in a bowl with rapeseed oil, salt, and optionally ras el hanout and cumin powder, and mix well. Bake the seasoned chickpeas at 165°C in an air fryer or oven for 35 minutes to crisp them up. Shake the chickpeas 2-3 times to ensure even crispiness.
