Crispy sage potatoes

Ingredients for 3 servings:

  • 6 large potatoes
  • 12 leaves of sage, fresh
  • lots of olive oil
  • some salt and pepper

Instructions

Working time approx. 10 minutes; Cooking/baking time approx. 25 minutes; Total time approx. 35 minutes

perfect as a side dish to fish, meat or as a vegetarian dish for grilling

Wash the potatoes and cook in boiling water for about 20 minutes. Wash the sage, shake dry, and pluck the leaves from the stems. Mix the olive oil, salt, and pepper in a bowl. Drain the potatoes, rinse in cold water, and halve them horizontally. Toss the potato halves thoroughly in the marinade and cover the inside with a sage leaf, pressing it down. Place the potato halves on a baking sheet and cook in a preheated oven at 200°C for about 25 minutes (you can also place them upside down on a grill tray on the grill for about 5-10 minutes).
