Ingredients for 2 servings:
- 2 portions of fish fillet(s), of your choice
- 3 bananas
- 1 cup of cream
- 1 cup crème fraîche
- Butter and oil for frying
- curry powder
- salt and pepper
- Flour
Instructions
Working time approx. 20 minutes; Total time approx. 20 minutes
Coat the fish in flour, salt, and pepper. Fry on both sides in a pan with a mixture of oil and butter, then remove from the pan and keep warm. Slice the bananas and fry in the pan with butter. Turn them over and dust with curry powder on both sides. When they are lightly browned, remove them from the pan. Briefly toast the curry powder again in the hot pan. But not for too long, or it will become bitter. Deglaze with cream and crème fraîche and simmer. The color should be a nice yellow from the curry. Season with salt and pepper. Heat the bananas briefly in the sauce again and then serve with the fish. Basmati rice goes very well with it. You can also use cream cheese instead of crème fraîche.
