Ingredients
- 1 tbsp Chia seeds
- 80 g Dates without stones
- 130 g Wholemeal spelt flour
- 40 g Teff flakes or flour
- 60 g Ground nuts, e.g. Hazelnuts
- 0,5 tsp Cinnamon
- 0,5 tsp Cardamom
- 4 tbsp Maple syrup
- 3 tbsp Milk
- 1 tbsp Crushed flaxseed
- 80 g Liquid coconut oil
Instructions
- Cover 1 tablespoons of chia seeds in a cup with water (approx. 3 - 4 tablespoons of water). Let it soak for about 10-15 minutes until a kind of jelly has formed. Finely chop the dates.
- Briefly knead / mix all ingredients in the food processor to form a dough. Shape walnut-sized balls with your hands and place on a baking sheet lined with baking paper. Press flat with a fork.
- Bake in a preheated oven at 180 degrees circulating air (or 200 degrees top / bottom heat) for about 15 - 17 minutes. Then let it cool down and store it in an airtight container.
