Ingredients for 1 servings:

  • 175 g butter, soft
  • 150 g sugar
  • 1 egg(s)
  • 250 g flour
  • 1 tbsp anise seeds, or 1 tsp ground anise or cardamom
  • ¼ liter of water, warm, rather a little more

Instructions

Working time approx. 1 hour; Cooking/baking time approx. 1 hour; Total time approx. 2 hours

a simple recipe from my grandma, the recipe makes about 30 waffles

Mix the ingredients into a batter and let it rest for a while. Then bake a tablespoon at a time in a cone-shaped baking pan. When the waffles reach the right color, remove them and immediately shape them into cones with a fork. Once cooled, store them in a tin. The waffles taste great with whipped cream, but they also taste great with ice cream.
