Ingredients for 3 servings:

  • 2 carrots
  • 2 potatoes
  • 150 g peas, frozen
  • 2 onions
  • 1 clove(s) garlic
  • 2 tbsp olive oil
  • 2 tbsp flour, strong
  • ¾ liter broth
  • 2 tbsp tomato paste
  • 1 can of beans, baked beans (can contents 415g)
  • 2 pairs of sausages, frankfurters
  • e.g. paprika powder
  • salt and pepper
  • curry
  • e.g. Tabasco, red or green depending on the desired spiciness

Instructions

Working time approx. 10 minutes; Cooking/baking time approx. 20 minutes; Total time approx. 30 minutes

Peel and dice the carrots, potatoes, and onions. Sauté the diced onions in oil on a hot plate and add the remaining diced vegetables and the peas. Lightly fry everything, then dust with flour. Pour in the stock and stir well. Add the tomato paste and simmer gently over low heat for about 20 minutes. Then press in the garlic clove and add the baked beans. Thinly slice the frankfurters and add them to the stew. Heat everything together briefly. Season to taste and serve with ciabatta bread or a roll.
