How rice pudding helps you lose weight

If you would like to lose weight and still not miss out on a sweet snack, homemade rice pudding is perfect.

  • Ready-to-use rice pudding from the supermarket contains a lot of sugar. If you prepare your rice pudding yourself, you can do without sugar. The homemade rice pudding can be prepared in all variations.
  • Simply buy unprocessed rice pudding. This is often found next to the conventional types of rice on the supermarket shelf. With an average of 370 kcal per 100 g, homemade rice pudding is significantly lower in calories than the sweetened alternatives.
  • Rice pudding recipe: What you need: 150 g rice pudding, 300 ml cow or plant milk, an apple, 1/2 banana, 50 g apple pulp, 20 g nuts and some cinnamon
  • Place the rice pudding and milk in a saucepan over low heat for 25 minutes, stirring constantly. Cut the banana and the apple into small pieces and add them after a cooking time of 15 minutes.
  • If the rice pudding has a thick consistency, you can remove it from the stove and put it in a bowl. Sprinkle the nuts and cinnamon on top and add the apple pulp.
  • The rice pudding is perfect for breakfast or lunch or simply as a small snack.
  • Tip: Alternatively, you can use any other fruit. Chocolate fans can also add a teaspoon of baking cocoa. If you don’t like cinnamon, you can mix the pulp of a vanilla pod into the rice pudding.
