Ingredients for 4 servings:
- 1 kg potatoes, mainly waxy
- Rapeseed oil or other neutral oil
- tsp, leveled salt and pepper
- Spice mix (grilled chicken spice)
- Paprika powder, hot
Instructions
Working time approx. 10 minutes; Cooking/baking time approx. 30 minutes; Total time approx. 40 minutes
Wash the uncooked (!) potatoes thoroughly, then cut them into wedges (quarters or eighths, depending on the size of the potatoes). Place them in a bowl and, while tossing the potatoes, first add a generous splash of oil, followed by the seasoning. It’s best to toss one person around while the other seasons. This way, everything is evenly distributed and adheres well. Spread out on a baking sheet (lying individually) and cook for about 30 minutes at 180°C. The potato wedges are ready when they’re bulging and look like they’re about to burst. Pepperoni curd makes an excellent dip.
