Ingredients for 3 servings:
- 1 baguette(s)
- 2 tomatoes
- 100 g feta cheese, alternatively mozzarella
- 50 g herb butter
- e.g. salt and pepper
Instructions
Working time approx. 20 minutes; Cooking/baking time approx. 10 minutes; Total time approx. 30 minutes
Preheat the oven to 200°C (top/bottom heat). Cut slits in the baguette approximately every 1.5 cm, but do not cut all the way through. Wash and slice the tomatoes, lightly season with salt and pepper. Cut the feta into thin slices. Brush the inside of the slits with herb butter and alternate between a slice of tomato and feta. Place on a baking sheet lined with baking paper and bake for about 10 minutes. Serve with a leaf salad as a main course or as a grilled side dish.
