Fennel Seeds: Popular Home Remedy and Medicinal Plant

Fennel seeds promote digestion and are a proven home remedy for stomach cramps. The essential germ oil is also a very effective cough reliever.

The fruits of the herb fennel, known as fennel seeds, are among the medicinal plants that have been used since ancient times. They help against coughs, abdominal cramps, flatulence, and food intolerance.

Homemade cough suppressant

In order to release the effective essential germ oil, the fennel seeds must be crushed in a mortar. Mixed with honey, the grated seeds make a very effective homemade cough suppressant.

Fennel tea for abdominal cramps and flatulence

In the case of abdominal cramps, flatulence, or a feeling of fullness, the seeds are infused with water that is no longer boiling and then steeped for ten minutes. A closed pot should be used so that the valuable essential oils are not lost.

Increase performance
