Fiery Skewers

The perfect fiery skewers recipe with a picture and simple step-by-step instructions.

  • 500 g Ground beef
  • 400 Tomatoes
  • 1 Red chilli
  • 1 Chilli green
  • 1 Onion
  • 1 toe Garlic
  • 1 Egg
  • Mustard, breadcrumbs, pepper and salt, chilli flakes
  • 1 tbsp Tomato paste

Tomato and Chilli Relish

  1. Finely chop the onion, chilli and garlic.
  2. Heat the oil in a saucepan and sauté half of the chopped onions, garlic and chilli in there. Roughly dice the tomatoes (I used date tomatoes here) and add to the onions / chilli. Deglaze tomato paste with ran and possibly with a little water and let simmer for about 15 minutes. Season to taste with chilli flakes, possibly salt. Keep warm.

Hack skewers

  1. Knead the ground beef, the rest of the onion, chilli and garlic as well as the egg, mustard and breadcrumbs. Season with salt and pepper. Possibly some thyme. Shape the meat mixture into rolls and put two rolls on approx. 7-8 skewers.
  2. Then fry in the pan or whoever has the contact grill.
  3. Serve with small dumplings (gnocchi), flatbread, or ……
