Figs – Gratin
The perfect figs – gratin recipe with a picture and simple step-by-step instructions.
- 20 g Butter
- 1 Egg
- 100 g Quark
- 1 packet Vanilla sugar
- 1 tablespoon Custard powder
- 0,5 teaspoon Orange peel aroma
- 1 pinch Salt
- 1 tablespoon Sugar
- 2 Figs fresh
- Melt the butter in a saucepan and let it cool down a little. Separate egg. Mix the egg yolks with the butter, quark and vanilla sugar until creamy. Stir in the custard powder and flavor.
- Beat egg whites with salt until stiff. Sprinkle in the sugar. Fold in the egg whites. Wash and dry the figs, cut off the stem and cut into eighths.
- Grease a small ovenproof dish. Spread the figs on the ground. Put the quark mixture on top and smooth it out.
- Bake in the oven at 200 degrees for about 15 minutes. Take out of the oven, let cool down a bit … and enjoy 😉
