- 180 g Butter

- Make a batter from the ingredients for the dough and spread on a greased baking sheet.
- For the meringue, beat the egg white, sugar and vanilla sugar until stiff and spread the mixture onto the batter.
- Sprinkle with the sliced almonds and bake in the preheated oven at 170 ° for about 20 minutes.
- Take the cake out of the oven.
- Immediately cut half of the tray into pieces, then let the cake cool for 1 hour.
- Pour the cherries into a sieve, collect the juice.
- Prepare the cake topping with 250 ml cherry juice according to the package instructions, fold in the cherries and place on the uncut side of the cake.
