Ingredients for 1 servings:
- 250 g butter
- 250 g sugar
- 3 eggs
- 3 pinches of cinnamon powder
- 1 tsp. clove powder
- 250 g flour
- 250 g nuts or almonds
- ½ tsp baking powder
- Currant jam
Instructions
Working time approx. 20 minutes; Cooking/baking time approx. 45 minutes; Total time approx. 1 hour 5 minutes
Combine butter, sugar, and whole eggs in a bowl, then add the cinnamon and cloves. Mix the flour, nuts, and baking powder thoroughly and add to the bowl. Pour about 2/3 of the mixture into a baking dish and spread with blackcurrant jam. Transfer the remaining mixture to a piping bag and make the edges and lattice. (Alternatively, simply scrape off the dough from the dough scraper.) Bake in a preheated oven at 180°C (top/bottom heat) for about 45 minutes.
