Fish: Fried Sea Bream

The perfect fish: fried sea bream recipe with a picture and simple step-by-step instructions.

  • 1 Sea bream, approx. 250 g
  • 1 disc Lemon
  • 1 branch Rosemary
  • Salt
  • Black pepper from the mill
  • Flour
  • Olive oil
  • 1 size Onion
  • 1 huge Solo garlic
  • 5 Plum tomatoes
  1. Season the chicken-ready sea bream vigorously and turn in flour. Put the lemon wedge and rosemary in the abdominal cavity.
  2. Briefly fry the fish in hot olive oil on both sides.
  3. Roughly chop the onion and garlic. Halve the tomatoes. Put all this around the fish in the pan and close with the lid.
  4. Continue frying for approx. 10 minutes at reduced heat.
  5. To check whether the sea bream is done, pluck a small piece of the dorsal fin from the meat. If the fin can be easily removed, the sea bream is done.
  6. There was boiled potatoes and a Greek salad.
