Ingredients for 4 servings:

  • 3 cloves garlic
  • 6 tbsp olive oil
  • 800 g fish fillet(s) (e.g. redfish fillet) or shrimp
  • Salt and pepper, black
  • 2 tbsp flour
  • 1 lemon(s)

Instructions

Working time approx. 15 minutes; Total time approx. 15 minutes

Peel and quarter the garlic. Chop 1-2 quarters, not too finely. Heat the oil in a large pan. Place the garlic quarters in the oil and fry over medium heat for about 5 minutes. They may brown, but should not become too dark. Meanwhile, sprinkle the fish fillets with salt and pepper and coat in flour. Remove the garlic quarters from the oil. Place the fillets in the oil, add the finely chopped garlic, and fry for 1-2 minutes on each side. Cut the lemon into wedges and add them when serving.
