Ingredients for 1 servings:
- 280 g flour
- 125 g sugar
- 1 pinch of salt
- 15 g cream of tartar baking powder
- ½ apple, pureed (approx. 2 tbsp)
- 100 ml oil
- 150 ml mineral water
- possibly fruits or chocolate or nuts
- possibly spice(s) (cinnamon powder, vanilla)
- Paper cups
Instructions
Working time approx. 15 minutes; Cooking/baking time approx. 20 minutes; Total time approx. 35 minutes
without egg, without dairy products, without soy
Mix all dry ingredients. Stir in the applesauce. Combine the oil and water and stir quickly. Now, if desired, add approximately 150–200 g of fruit (e.g., blueberries, apple pieces, etc.) or chocolate pieces, nuts, spices (cinnamon, vanilla, etc.). Pour the batter into muffin cups. Depending on the amount of other ingredients, the batter will make 9–12 muffins. Bake at 180°C (convection oven) for approximately 20–25 minutes. The mineral water and baking powder give the muffins their fluffiness, and the applesauce provides the binding – so you can’t leave it out (you can’t really taste it).
