for Everyone Who Likes Garlic

The perfect for everyone who likes garlic recipe with a picture and simple step-by-step instructions.

dough

  • 360 g Spelled flour
  • 8 g Salt
  • 8 g Barley malt
  • 10 g Olive oil
  • 1 packet Dry yeast
  • 210 g Water

filling

  • 1 whole tuber Garlic
  • 200 g Self-Grated Gouda
  • 1 pinch Salt

To sprinkle

  • 150 g Sesame
  1. Peel and chop the garlic bulbs, or chop and mix with the olive oil and salt as if to a paste.

dough

  1. Knead all ingredients into a dough. First 5 minutes on the lowest setting, then 3 minutes full. It’s really important
  2. Then cover and let rise for 15 minutes at room temperature.
  3. Please put the dough on a lightly floured surface.
  4. Weigh every 100g parts.
  5. Shape each part into a round shape, this is a little difficult to explain. Place a 100 gram dough on the worktop and shape it into a nice ball in a circle with the palm of your hand. Then cover and let rest for 5-10 minutes.
  6. Then flatten one ball of dough and roll it out with a rolling pin to make flat cakes. Always make sure that you have flour under the flatbreads, otherwise they will stick.
  7. Now spread the Konblauch paste well on each flatbread. Then the grated cheese comes on top. You can also take Emmental. Only none that is too dominant. It’s garlic stick.
  8. Then carefully roll up the pancakes at the top, slide your hand under the pancakes with your left, and pull very gently with your thumb and forefinger and roll up with your right hand.
  9. Then you have croissants. When you have them all, please roll them gently with both hands until you are the width of your baking sheet.
  10. If your sticks are as wide as the baking sheet, please spray them with water and then dip them in sesame seeds.
  11. Place on the baking sheet with parchment paper and twist it slightly, just like with a bread roll.
  12. Then spray again and cover and let rise for 25 minutes at room temperature.
  13. Preheat the oven to 220 degrees top / bottom heat. Just go to your oven and spray again vigorously before baking.
  14. Bake until golden brown.
  15. You will be amazed. It all sounds complex, but it is not. Just look at my pictures, maybe it will be easier to understand.
