Freezing the pudding – this is important to note
If you have bought or cooked too much pudding, you can freeze the food.
- Store-bought pudding is best placed in the freezer in the plastic cup it was sold in.
- Put the pudding you have made yourself in a freezer-safe container.
- Be sure to write the freezing date on it. You should not store pudding in the freezer for longer than three months.
- However, after thawing, the pudding will look different than it did before it was frozen. He’s more watery.
- It is best to put the defrosted pudding in a saucepan and boil it again briefly. Also, add some starch to make it creamier again.
- Tip: You can also freeze pudding in ice cream molds. Then you have a custard popsicle on hand as a tasty refreshment on hot days.
