the absolute hit for the children’s party

Cut the crusts off the sandwich slices. Flatten the four slices using a rolling pin. Then, using a small bowl, cut out four round slices. Place one tablespoon of Nutella in the center of two circles and brush the edges of the slices with beaten egg yolk. Use a pastry brush to help with this. Now cover the sandwich slices with the other two circles. Additionally, seal the edges of the slices with a kitchen fork by applying light pressure with the tines. This will prevent the chocolate mixture from escaping during baking. Brush the surface of the sandwiches with egg yolk. Bake the French toast in a preheated oven at 180°C for about 15 minutes. Finally, decorate the French toast with powdered sugar, chocolate chips, or something similar.
