Fried sweet potatoes with aspic

Ingredients for 2 servings:

  • 1 large sweet potato(s)
  • 1 large onion(s)
  • 25 g bacon
  • 2 tsp, heaped marjoram
  • salt and pepper
  • 2 slice(s) of aspic, 125 g each
  • 2 servings of remoulade
  • 4 gherkins

Instructions

Working time approx. 25 minutes; Cooking/baking time approx. 12 minutes; Total time approx. 37 minutes

Peel the sweet potato, quarter it lengthwise, and cut it into slices of about 3 mm. Fry the bacon and add the slices. Season with salt and pepper, and sprinkle with marjoram. Once the sweet potatoes are nicely browned, turn them over. Add the finely chopped onion and finish cooking. Serve the aspic slices with the sliced ​​gherkins and the remoulade sauce.
