Ingredients for 1 servings:
- 50 ml white wine, sweet or mineral water
- 100 ml milk
- 1 lemon(s), untreated, zest
- 40 g butter, soft
- 40 g sugar
- 1 egg yolk
- 1 egg(s)
- 1 pinch of salt
- 1 tsp baking powder
- 1 pinch(s) of saffron
- 300 g flour
- e.g. fat for frying
- Powdered sugar for dusting
- Flour for the work surface

Mix the flour, baking powder, and salt in a bowl. Knead with the remaining ingredients until you have a smooth, firm dough. Let the dough rest for 1/2 hour. Divide the dough into several pieces and roll out on a floured surface to a thickness of 3-4 mm. Using a serrated pastry wheel or knife, cut into strips about 10 cm long and 1 1/2 cm wide. Cut a slit in the middle and pull one end of the cut strip through the slit. Heat oil or lard in a deep fryer. Fry the dough loops in batches until golden brown and drain on kitchen paper. Dust with powdered sugar and serve.
