Gambas À La Julio
The perfect gambas à la julio recipe with a picture and simple step-by-step instructions.
- 300 ml Olive oil
- 250 ml Diced onion
- 5 Toes Garlic
- 600 g Prawns … I took Lidl’s prawn ring
- 3 St. Dried chili peppers
- 1 sheet Laurel
- 1 tsp Dried rosemary
- 2 tsp Dried basil
- Let the olive oil get very hot in a pan. Add the onions and fry for 1 minute, then add the crushed garlic and the only lightly salted prawns (also works great with frozen prawns!).
- Sizzle in it for a good 10 minutes. After about 5 minutes add the rosemary and the remaining herbs.
- We ate fresh toast from the bakery and a tomato salad.
- Simply fantastic!
