Garlic cream soup

Ingredients for 2 servings:

  • 1 onion(s)
  • 6 cloves garlic
  • 400 g potatoes
  • 1 tbsp butter
  • 500 ml vegetable stock
  • 100 g cream
  • salt and pepper
  • 1 tsp dried herbs
  • 50 g sour cream or sour cream

Instructions

Working time approx. 25 minutes; Total time approx. 25 minutes

Peel and finely dice the onion and garlic cloves (use more or fewer cloves to taste). Peel the potatoes and cut into small pieces. Heat the butter in a saucepan and sauté the onions and garlic. Add the potatoes and pour in the broth. Let the soup simmer gently for about 25 minutes, stirring in the cream shortly before the end of the cooking time. Purée the soup with a hand blender until creamy and season with salt, pepper, and herbs. Serve among warmed bowls and garnish each with a dollop of sour cream.
