Gluten-free apple pie in a jar

Ingredients for 1 servings:

  • 150 g butter, lactose-free
  • 80 g sugar
  • 3 eggs
  • 150 g Flour, gluten-free (Schär Mix C)
  • 1 tsp baking powder, gluten-free
  • 1 vanilla pod(s)
  • 50 g marzipan
  • 2 small apples

Instructions

Working time approx. 20 minutes; Cooking/baking time approx. 25 minutes; Total time approx. 45 minutes

with marzipan

Preheat the oven to 160°C fan/convection oven. Beat the butter until fluffy, then add the sugar and continue beating. Gradually beat in the eggs, scrape out the vanilla pod and add it too. Weigh the flour and add the baking powder. Peel the apples and cut into small pieces, and tear the marzipan into small pieces. Stir the flour into the butter mixture, then stir the apples and marzipan into the batter with a wooden spoon. Rinse 7 230g jars with hot water. Dry the jars and then brush with butter. Fill halfway with the batter, that’s about 3 spoonfuls of batter per jar. Place the jars in the oven and bake for about 25 minutes. Do the skewer test. Remove the jars and screw the lids on immediately, then let them cool.
