Ingredients for 7 servings:
- 1 kg gnocchi, frozen
- 300 g soy shreds, very fine
- 1 pack of tomatoes, pureed
- 1 bunch of Italian herbs (fresh, oregano, marjoram, thyme)
- 2 cloves garlic
- 1 onion(s)
- 3 dashes Worcestershire sauce
- 1 shot of red wine
- some spice mix Würzl
- salt and pepper
- 1 tube(s) Tomato paste
- lots of Parmesan, freshly grated
- some soy cream (soy cream cuisine)
- 1 tbsp olive oil
Instructions
Working time approx. 30 minutes; Rest time approx. 10 minutes; Cooking/baking time approx. 40 minutes; Total time approx. 1 hour 20 minutes
Cook the gnocchi in salted water according to the package instructions. Drain and place in a large casserole dish. Pour hot water over the soy shreds and let them swell for 10 minutes, then drain, rinse, and drain. Sauté the onions and garlic in a little olive oil. Add the soy shreds and fry. Add the tomato paste. Then add the spices, Worcestershire sauce, red wine, salt, and pepper. Stir in the pureed tomato sauce, add the fresh herbs, and simmer for 5 minutes. Stir in a little Soja Cuisine. Season to taste. Pour the sauce over the gnocchi, discarding the herbs, and mix everything lightly. Sprinkle generously with Parmesan cheese. Place in the oven at 180°C (top/bottom heat) for 30 minutes. Serve with a fresh green salad.
