Gnocchi with pesto and fagiolini

Trim the green beans and cook in salted water for about 20 minutes until al dente. Add the gnocchi to the boiling water and cook until they float to the top. This will take 2-3 minutes for both homemade and store-bought gnocchi. Drain the gnocchi. Add the pesto and beans and let it marinate briefly. Serve on a plate with a touch of chili and sprinkled with plenty of grated Pecorino Romano. Tip: If you have canned beans, drain them thoroughly and then heat them for about 5 minutes with the gnocchi.
