Ingredients
 

  • 500 ml Milk
  • 15 g 1 piece of ginger peeled
  • 2 piece Cardamom capsules
  • 2 tsp Ground turmeric
  • 1 tsp Ground cinnamon
  • 2 tsp Agave syrup or liquid honey

Instructions
 

  • Peel and finely dice the ginger. Break open the cardamom capsule, place the cardamom balls in a mortar and grate finely with the pestle. Put all ingredients (500 ml milk, 15 g diced ginger, 2 capsules of grated cardamom, 2 teaspoons of ground turmeric and 1 teaspoon of ground cinnamon) in a saucepan and bring to the boil while stirring. Turn off the oven and let everything simmer gently for another 2 - 3 minutes. Let cool down to approx. 40 - 50 ° C, stir in the agave syrup (2 teaspoons), pour through a fine sieve and enjoy sip by sip. Golden milk is also called tumeric latte, golden milk or turmeric latte.
