Golden Pistachio Secret
The perfect golden pistachio secret recipe with a picture and simple step-by-step instructions.
filling
- 60 g Sugar
- 1 packet Vanilla sugar
- 2 tbsp Milk
- 100 g Margarine
- 2 tbsp Sesame paste tahini tahini
- 1 Pc. Lemon, zest
- 100 g Chopped pistachios
- 50 g Powdered sugar
- 1 tsp Pistachio pulp unsweetened
- 2 drops Rose water
Decoration
- Couverture white
- Gold leaf
- Put the flour, sugar and vanilla sugar in a mixing bowl, mix and spread the margarine on top. Mix with the dough hook of the mixer and add milk, lemon zest and sesame paste until a dense dough is formed. Then the work surface is floured and the dough is rolled out with a rolling pin. Now small hearts are cut out of the dough with the heart cutter. The cookies are baked for about 10 minutes at 200 °.

- While the cookies are cooling down, mix the chopped pistachios, pistachio flavor paste, powdered sugar and rose water into a mixture.
Decoration
- Gently melt the white chocolate in a small, narrow bowl or in a mug in the microwave. The pistachio mixture is spread on the cooled cookies, another cookie is placed on top. Half of the double-deckers are dipped into the melted white chocolate, placed on a plate lined with baking paper and can then harden in the freezer. With a brush, gold leaf is applied to the chocolate side for decoration.
