Ingredients for 1 servings:
- 1 kg gooseberries
- 250 ml vinegar, elderflower
- 350 g sugar
- 1 bag(s) Gelfix Super
- ½ tsp lemon zest
- ½ tsp orange peel
- 1 clove(s) garlic
- 1 tsp salt
- 2 tsp curry, green
- ½ tsp paprika powder (rose pepper)
- pepper, to taste
Instructions
Working time approx. 15 minutes; Total time approx. 15 minutes
Puree the gooseberries and add them to a large pot along with the vinegar. Mix the sugar well with the gel-fix and add it to the pot. Stir in the gooseberries. Finely chop the garlic and add it along with the spices. If the gooseberries are very sour, add more sugar if necessary. Bring everything to a boil and simmer gently for about 8 minutes, stirring occasionally. Immediately pour into hot, rinsed bottles and seal them immediately.
