Grainy Pancake
The perfect grainy pancake recipe with a picture and simple step-by-step instructions.
- 1 Cup Wholegrain green spelled
- 2 cups Flour
- 1 liter Milk 3.8
- 4 Free range eggs
- 1 tsp Cumin
- 0,5 tsp Chili
- 1 tsp Vegetable broth powder
- 1 tsp Salt
- 1 tsp Baking powder
- Oil
- Theoretically, the green kernel can be replaced by any other grain. However, due to its piquant taste, this milk-ripe spelled is best.
- Finely grind the grain. if you don’t have a mill, you can buy it. the fresh grain aroma is missing here, however. However, freshly ground is also available in the organic shop.
- Now mix the flour, milk, eggs and the other ingredients well and prepare a pancake batter. possibly add milk or flour.
- Let the dough soak for at least 1 hour.
- Now bake out the pancakes as usual with the oil in the pan.
- They are ideal for savory fillings and salads.
- The seasoning mix I suggested is not dogma, everyone can vary according to taste, desire and mood. Savory goes great too. -bteavon, enjoy your meal.
- P.S. Vegans replace the cow’s milk with soy milk, the egg with “no Egg” powder!
