- 1 Spaghetti Pumpkin
- 100 g Grated spicy hard cheese e.g. Gryerzer
- 40 g Herb butter
- Pepper, salt, spice mixture Cafe de Paris
- First cut the pumpkin in half and scrape out the seeds and fibrous seeds with a spoon. Then place the two pumpkin halves in the steamer and cook for 45 minutes. Alternatively, you can cook the pumpkin in one piece in the oven or put it in the pressure cooker. I have also read about a possibility of cooking in the microwave, but not yet tested it myself. After cooking, remove the pumpkin halves and loosen the pumpkin flesh with a fork. Pumpkin spaghetti is formed directly. Now season the pumpkin flesh vigorously with the specified spices - do not save, otherwise it will taste bland afterwards. Then sprinkle with cheese and bake in the oven for another 20 minutes. Jacket potatoes with herb quark and salad go well with it.
