Green asparagus with mango in honey-mustard sauce

Ingredients for 2 servings:

  • 500 g asparagus, green
  • Clarified butter
  • 1 mango(s), ripe, diced
  • 1 clove(s) garlic, finely chopped
  • 1 tbsp Dijon mustard, spicy and well-hot
  • tbsp honey
  • salt and pepper

Instructions

Working time approx. 15 minutes; Cooking/baking time approx. 15 minutes; Total time approx. 30 minutes

Peel the asparagus, if necessary, and cut it into 1-2 cm pieces. Add clarified butter to a pan and lightly fry the asparagus. Add the diced mango to the asparagus. Let everything cook for a while, then quickly add the mustard and honey. Once a light sauce has formed, season with salt and pepper. This process takes a maximum of 15 minutes. Rice goes very well with it.
