Green bean stew

Ingredients for 2 servings:

  • 2 onions
  • 100 g celeriac
  • 6 m.-sized potatoes
  • 2 carrots
  • 1 garlic clove(s)
  • 240 g tartar
  • salt and pepper
  • 1 tsp vegetable oil
  • 600 ml vegetable stock
  • 2 tsp vegetable broth, instant
  • 1 bay leaf
  • 500 g beans, green
  • 1 tsp savory

Instructions

Working time approx. 20 minutes; Total time approx. 20 minutes

Finely dice the onions and celery, and coarsely dice the potatoes and carrots. Crush the garlic, mix with the tartar, and season with salt and pepper. Heat the oil in a saucepan. Sauté the diced onions and celery and the tartar, deglaze with the stock, and add the diced potatoes. Season with salt, pepper, and the bay leaf. Let the stew simmer for about 10 minutes. Add the carrots and cook for another 5 minutes. Add the beans and cook for another 5-8 minutes. Season the stew with savory, stock, salt, and pepper, and serve.
