Greizer Bowls
The perfect greizer bowls recipe with a picture and simple step-by-step instructions.
- 5 Medium sized eggs
- 500 mg Flour
- 250 ml Milk
- 2 tbsp Sugar
- 1 pinch Salt
- Cooked bacon, cut into cubes
- Applesauce
- Beat the eggs with the sugar. Then add the milk and flour and a pinch of salt and beat everything for a while. Then let the dough rest for about 20 minutes. In the meantime, place a full tablespoon of bacon in each mold. (You can also leave out the bacon). After the dough has left to rest, fill the molds 2/3 full with the dough mixture. Preheat the oven to 200 degrees Celsius (it is best to use a fan oven) and bake the bowls for about 20 minutes at this temperature until the mixture is a little browned and risen above the edge of the mold. Then bake the bowls for another 10 minutes at 150 degrees. Bowls are served hot, straight from the oven. They should come out of the shapes easily. If something is left over from the bowls, it can also be eaten cold. Applesauce is served as a compote. (… or whatever you like) DELICIOUS!
