Ingredients for 2 servings:
- 400 g chicken breast or turkey breast fillet
- 3 tsp soy sauce
- 2 tsp honey
- 1 tsp rapeseed oil
- 4 tsp lime juice
- 2 garlic cloves
- 2 tsp chili sauce (Sriracha)
- 1 tsp sweet paprika powder
- a few stalks of fresh coriander (optional)
Instructions
Working time approx. 25 minutes; Rest time approx. 2 hours; Cooking/baking time approx. 10 minutes; Total time approx. 2 hours 35 minutes
with honey, lime juice and fresh coriander
Cut the chicken or turkey breast fillet into strips and thread them onto skewers in a wavy pattern. If using wooden skewers, soak them in water first. Crush the garlic, finely chop the cilantro, and mix all ingredients. Brush the meat with the marinade and marinate for at least 2 hours. Grill for a few minutes either on the grill or in a griddle pan. Tip: Sriracha sauce is available at Asian stores and is quite spicy. You may want to start with 1 teaspoon and season to taste. Fresh cilantro isn’t everyone’s cup of tea, but it works wonderfully here.
