Guacamole with strawberries and basil

Ingredients for 1 servings:

  • 1 avocado(s), ripe
  • ½ lime(s) (organic)
  • 1 chili pepper(s), pitted, (amount according to taste and spiciness)
  • ⅛ onion(s), red
  • 5 strawberries
  • 6 basil leaves
  • salt and pepper
  • possibly agave syrup
  • Strawberries (for garnishing)

Working time approx. 10 minutes; Total time approx. 10 minutes

The classic fruity interpretation

Peel the avocado, remove the pit, and mash the flesh with a fork. Mix with half a teaspoon of finely grated lime zest and two to three teaspoons of lime juice. Finely dice the chili pepper and onion. Wash and hull the strawberries, then roughly dice them. Tear the basil into small pieces. Mix everything into the avocado cream, season with salt, pepper, and a little more agave syrup, if desired. Serve garnished with strawberries over taco chips or as a spread on baguette.
